Michael Stark Assistant Dean of Students and Chair of the BIT Team

Michael Stark is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in student affairs and university housing within the higher education environment. He currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Students, where he oversees various aspects of student life, including student rights and responsibilities, student complaints and behavior intervention. Michael has a strong background in managing fiscal operations, developing departmental policies, and coordinating major construction and renovation projects through serving for ten years as the Director of Residential Living and Learning at East Texas A&MÂ proving on-campus housing to 2300 students.
Prior to his tenure at East Texas A&M, Michael held several leadership positions at Marquette University, Sonoma State University, Eastern Michigan University, and Hiram College, where he gained valuable experience in student affairs, residence life, staff training, summer camps, and student organization advising.
