Executive Director of Student Engagement and Operations

Amanda Horne serves as the Executive Director of Student Engagement and Operations where she provides visionary leadership for the Office of Student Engagement and the Rayburn Student Center. She leads a team of 15 full-time professionals focused on fostering a vibrant campus community through programs, services and spaces that promote student involvement, leadership development and belonging.

With over 17 years of experience in higher education, Amanda has devoted her career to student affairs, specializing in student engagement, campus life, and co-curricular learning. Her work centers on creating inclusive, developmental opportunities that empower students to lead with purpose and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Amanda’s academic and professional journey reflects a deep commitment to student growth and a strong belief in the transformative power of involvement and connection.
