Dr. Stephanie DeLuca joins the East Texas A&M University faculty from the University of Utah, where she served as the Assistant Director of Athletic Bands and Assistant Professor. At Utah, she assisted with the Marching Utes and Pep Band, conducted the Symphonic Band, and taught undergraduate courses in conducting, instrumental methods and music education. Before joining the University of Utah, Dr. DeLuca held teaching and conducting roles at both Florida State University and Baylor University, where she worked with a variety of ensembles and served as a graduate teaching assistant.

Previously, she served as Associate Director of Bands for Clifton ISD in Texas. During her tenure, the Clifton High School Marching Band earned second and seventh place at the Texas State Marching Band Championships. Her middle school ensembles consistently received superior ratings and were recognized in the Texas Outstanding Performance Series. She is an active clinician, adjudicator and guest conductor. DeLuca and her husband, James, are excited to return to their home state of Texas to be closer to family! They have two-year-old twins, Charlotte and Henry, and an Australian Shepherd, Ellie.
