Art Facilities Guide: Art Sculpture Lab

The Art Sculpture Lab is in what was once the Print Shop of the old Sam Rayburn Memorial Student Center, now sharing what remains of that building with the Post Office. The large open space includes room for large projects and also includes a wood shop with table saw, drill press, compound miter saws, band saws, jointer, planer, sanders, panel saw. This lab also contains a metal shop with a furnace, forge, glass fusing kiln, plasma cutter, welders, and grinders. Additional equipment includes industrial sewing machines, 3D Printers, a Glowforge, walk-in Spray Booth and an assortment of power tools. It also includes graduate studios and faculty offices.
