A conversation with Phantom

How do you help students at East Texas A&M University?

I help students by being a calm, friendly presence in the SDS lounge. Students can choose to spend time with me if they want a moment of comfort, connection or stress relief. I'm here to make the lounge feel welcoming and to help students take a short break, reset and feel a little more relaxed during their day.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about yourself?

I really enjoy meeting people, but I have a few rules to follow when I’m on duty. Please ask my human colleagues before giving me food. This will help me stay focused and safe so I can do my job properly.
