Esther Howard Cuadros, Ph.D.

Esther Howard Cuadros received her PhD in Literature from The University of Texas at Dallas. She is also an Associate Fellow at the Royal Historical Society. Dr. Howard Cuadros's specialty areas are eighteenth-century and nineteenth-century British Literature and British History, with a secondary specialty in Caribbean Anglophone Literature during the colonial period of 1760-1960. In Dr. Howard Cuadros's dissertation titled “Revolution, Romanticism, and Abolitionism: Mary Ann(e) Rawson's The Bow in the Cloud and British Women's Writing, 1770-1834,” she analyzes abolitionist literature from Rawson's extant archived anthology to ascertain the “literariness” of the poetic pieces from the female contributors of The Bow.

Dr. Howard Cuadros taught Rhetoric, British Literature, and Introduction to World Literature at various universities. Her professional experience also includes teaching literature in the high school setting, as well as ESOL and composition courses at local community colleges. Though Dr. Howard Cuadros's most recent assignment was at The University of Texas at Dallas, she has also taught at The University of North Texas at Dallas, Ashland University, Dallas College: Eastfield and Northlake Campuses, Richland Collegiate High School, and Stanford Online High School.
