Introduction of New Business

Business is introduced before the Council through the submission of proposals to the Council’s Executive Committee for consideration or referral. To request a matter related to the academic function of faculty be formally considered by the Council, present your request to a member of the Executive Committee prior to its next regularly scheduled meeting or request time to present your proposal to the committee at an upcoming EC meeting. A brief period of time is also allotted for public comment at the regular council meetings; however, action cannot be taken on items not included on the agenda.
