Requesting an Unmanned aircraft system (UAS) flight
Submit a TAMUS Flight Authorization Application in Origami. Upon submitting your application, System Risk Management will review and forward the application to East Texas A&M University, which will review the application to make sure it is administratively accurate and complete, including the following information:

- Flight Information
- Part 107 Flight
- UAS Information
- Pilot Information
- Additional Pilots
- Acknowledgement and Signature
UAS Upload Checklist
- Certificate of Insurance
- COA
- Remote Pilot In Command (rPic) Certificate
- Required rPic Certificate (if rPic is more than 2 years old, required)
- UAS picture with registration # and Asset #
- Maintenance Records
- Waivers
Research Project Narratives
- Department
- Department Identification
- Department Contact
Flight Safety Plan Including
- Provisions to avoid flying over pedestrians and vehicles
- UAS Maintenance Logs
- UAS Incident Log
- Loss of Control Contingency Plan
Note: If you are a Third-Party Contractor, include a copy of the contract or agreement with TAMUS entity, and Any Additional Supporting Documentation
