Katherine Pang, Ph.D., M.S. in Clinical Psychopharmacology, MBA, J.D., Th.M., is passionate about facilitating change, developing clinical competencies, and encouraging others to pursue and accomplish their professional goals. She is also deeply involved in spiritual formation and has developed a therapeutic orientation. When she is not teaching, she practices privately as a licensed psychologist and mentors others in their faith. She has expertise in metacognition, executive function, ADHD, Autism, neuroscience, psychopathology, and psychopharmacology. She is licensed to practice psychology in numerous states.

What would you tell a student who is thinking about a graduate education in psychology?

ETAMU has a very strong clinical graduate program, and as the Director of the Psychology Community Clinic, students can expect a strong foundation in clinical competencies for applied learning and practice.

How has East Texas A&M influenced your life and/or career?

As an alumni, and as someone who has been involved with the psychology department for many years in a variety of positions, I would say ETAMU is important and a main motivator for my continued involvement in facilitating student growth.

Tell us about an academic project you are working on or recently completed.

As a clinical faculty member, there is no current research focus, but I maintain a continual focus on professional development and am currently investing in deepening my knowledge of neuroscience and spiritual formation.
