How do I Get Started?

  • New students should discuss career interests with their assigned academic advisor. The academic advisor will assist the student in assigning strength and conditioning as the major's concentration if deemed applicable in the student's career interest. Once assigned to the program, you will need to contact the concentration's program director to meet and become familiar with program expectations.
  • Current Students enrolled in a program within the Health and Human Performance Department should reach out to the concentration's program director to navigate any questions, concerns, or acquire affirmation on the necessity to transition over to the strength and conditioning concentration. Once such has been completed, the program director will assist the student in communicating the transition with the assigned academic advisor. Students will then be assisted in completing a major change request form to complete the transition to the newly selected concentration.
