Tracy Stewart serves as a Student Preparedness Navigator in the Office of Student Career Preparedness at East Texas A&M University. She partners with students to explore career options, develop career-ready skills, and connect what they’re learning and experiencing to future career goals. Through one-on-one coaching, workshops, and career resources, she helps students make informed decisions, gain confidence, and take meaningful steps toward their future.

Tracy brings over two decades of experience in education, student development, and leadership. Prior to joining the Office of Student Career Preparedness, she worked with Institutional Effectiveness and Research at East Texas A&M University. Before joining ETAMU, she taught business courses at the high school level, giving her valuable insight into the student journey from classroom learning to career planning. Today, she uses that experience to help college students explore their strengths, set meaningful goals, and prepare for success after graduation.

She earned a Master of Science in Family Studies and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Drawing on both her academic background and life experiences, she earned an Alternative Teaching Certificate from Texas A&M-Commerce (now East Texas A&M University) and made a career transition into education, where she has found meaningful opportunities to support students in their growth and success.

Tracy is passionate about supporting students as they explore their full potential, build the skills needed for career success, and thrive as they move from higher education into meaningful careers.
