Dr. Mohamed Yamany teaches courses in construction engineering and management, including construction project management, scheduling, project control, building information modeling (BIM), probabilistic scheduling, cost estimating, financial management, and applications of artificial intelligence in construction. He is also experienced in teaching pavement management systems, heavy construction methods, and evolving construction technologies. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMO Certified Practitioner (PMO-CP) with extensive academic and industry experience in infrastructure asset management and construction project management.
Dr. Yamany earned his doctorate in civil engineering (construction engineering and management) from Purdue University. His research focuses on leveraging emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, deep learning, virtual reality, and BIM to improve the management of construction projects and infrastructure assets. He has conducted research in collaboration with multiple institutions, including the University of Wyoming, Iowa State University, Purdue University, and the University of Toronto. His work has been published in leading journals such as the ASCE Journal of Infrastructure Systems, Built Environment Project and Asset Management, International Journal of Pavement Engineering and Innovative Infrastructure Solutions.
