Risk Management Resources: Food Handling Requirements

If you are preparing food onsite (i.e., grilling hamburgers and hotdogs for a public event or making smoothies in the NHS kitchen), a food handlers license will be required.

If you are catering a meal from an area restaurant or Sodexo, a food handlers license is not required.

All events require a risk assessment to be submitted 2 weeks before the scheduled event. For any additional questions on food procedures, please email [email protected].
