Annual Research Symposium: Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster presentations are used to present projects in which hypotheses or research questions have been established and data collection may be either complete or incomplete.

Find below the approved poster templates.

You are required to use one of these templates for your poster presentation.

1. Place the title, author(s), department and mentor’s name at the top center of the poster.
2. The title should be in letters at least a 1/2 inch high. Lettering on illustrations should be large and legible.
3. Poster dimensions should be 36″ x 48,” portrait style.
4. Posters will be mounted on poster walls with push pins, both provided by the symposium.
5. Poster presentations are 1-2 minutes long followed by questions from designated judges. The remaining time in your session will be open for audience Q&A.
