Originally from Dallas, Texas, Justin discovered his dedication to service early in life. After honorably serving in the United States Navy as a Hospitalman, he pursued his Bachelor of Arts in Management from Golden Gate University, where he developed a deep interest in organizational leadership, career development, and supporting others through major transitions. He later earned his Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) credential from the National Career Development Association.
Across his career, Justin has worked in a range of roles that blend employer engagement, advising, community partnerships, and workforce development. At institutions such as The University of Tulsa, Anne Arundel Community College, and statewide veteran service agencies in Texas and California, he has guided thousands of individuals through career exploration, professional readiness, and job‑search strategy. His work often focuses on helping students articulate their strengths, understand emerging labor‑market trends, and build the confidence needed to pursue competitive opportunities.
A strong relationship‑builder, Justin has also successfully collaborated with employers across corporate, nonprofit, government, and alumni networks to expand internships, job pipelines, and meaningful engagement opportunities for students. He is especially passionate about creating equitable access to career resources and ensuring that all students—regardless of background—feel supported, capable, and seen.
Justin is an active member of NACE, SoACE, and NCDA, where he continues to develop professionally and contribute to the evolving landscape of career education. Whether facilitating a workshop, coordinating a major recruiting event, or meeting one‑on‑one with a student who feels unsure of their next step, he strives to bring encouragement, clarity, and a belief in every student's future.
