The Mariam & Samson Ojemuyiwa Memorial Scholarship honors the lives and legacy of Mariam Aduke Giwa and Samson Ojeyanju Ojemuyiwa—two individuals whose lives were defined by kindness, integrity and a deep belief in the power of education to change lives. They devoted themselves to uplifting others and creating opportunities for those in need, always leading with compassion and service.
Established by their son, Sheun Babatunde Ojemuyiwa, a proud Lion and alumnus of East Texas A&M University, this scholarship serves as a lasting tribute to their values and life’s work.
