Reyna Laboratory
Valory Justice is a senior finishing her bachelor's degree in wildlife and conservation science. She has worked with the Lyon Center as a quail technician for more than a year. Valory says living out her passion for helping animals while gaining countless opportunities for personal and professional growth has made her time with the Lyon Center one of the most rewarding jobs she’s had.

Describe an exciting or meaningful moment you’ve experienced with the Lyon Center
I’ll never forget the quail research field trips over the past two summers. I saw wildlife in Texas that I’ve never seen, and I met some of the wisest people at the ranches we visited.
How has your time with the Lyon Center influenced your academic or career path?
