Onboarding Specialist

Kathryn Alvis has been in academia for twenty years. Before coming to East Texas AM&, she taught at both the elementary and college levels. Kathryn began her academic career as the District-wide Director of Professional and Organizational Leadership for Dallas Colleges.

How do you help students in your current role?

I help students by assisting them with getting started in the College of Innovation Competency-Based Program.

What do you love most about your job? 

Assisting students with reaching their goal of completing their Bachelor's degree.

What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending East Texas A&M University?
