A Conversation with Adriana

How do you help students in your current role?

I am able to support students by helping them with course selection, degree planning, and utilizing campus resources. It’s also important to guide them in developing time management skills, explore career opportunities, and offer emotional support when needed. Building a positive relationship with students and providing ongoing feedback can help them stay on track and succeed academically.

What do you love most about your job?

Having the opportunity to make a direct, positive impact on students lives. I enjoy helping them navigate their academic journey, whether it's choosing the right courses, overcoming challenges, or exploring career paths. Watching students grow, succeed, and achieve their goals gives me a sense of fulfillment, knowing I played a part in supporting their development and success.

What do you like to do when you're not working?

I enjoy competitive bowling and being outdoors, whether it’s walking my dog, working out, playing pickleball, or traveling with my husband to explore new places. I also have a passion for woodworking and take great pride in the sense of accomplishment that comes from creating something unique.
