HOW TO START
1
FIND A MINIMUM OF 4 MEMBERS
3 must serve as officers that maintain the following requirements:
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Enrolled in classes
- In good standing with University
- Cannot serve more than one officer position

FIND AN ADVISOR
Must be a full-time Faculty or Staff member at ETAMU.
Tips:
- Seek someone with similar interest
- Seek someone who can mentor or serve as a support system

BUILD YOUR CONSTITUTION
Required:
- Anti-Hazing statement
- Non-Discrimination statement

- EIN

Plan to seek funding?
An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is required to qualify for SOAC funding.
An EIN is a unique, nine-digit number assigned by the IRS to identify an organization for tax purposes. Student organizations need an EIN to open a bank account and handle financial transactions under the organization's name.
