Annual Research Symposium: Responsible Conduct in Research

East Texas A&M University fosters an environment that encourages research and scholarship. Integrity is essential to ensure the credibility of research and scholarship. Integrity is the foundation of all academic and scientific research, encompassing animal care and use, authorship, collaboration, data acquisition and maintenance, protection of human subjects, and mentoring and peer review.

To create and maintain an environment that promotes integrity in research and scholarship, all researchers associated with East Texas A&M, including faculty, staff, and students, must adhere to the principles of ethics in research and scholarship. East Texas A&M requires all individuals associated with the university, including faculty, staff, and other personnel, to adhere to superior standards when conducting all research and scholarship activities. This requirement is met by successfully completing the online training module available on the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) website.
