The East Texas A&M University Department of Athletics will recognize 62 student-athletes participating in commencement ceremonies scheduled for May 8–9.

Of the group, 47 are earning undergraduate degrees, and 15 will complete graduate programs.

The graduating student-athletes will be celebrated during a morning reception on Friday, May 8. Graduate students will then walk the stage on Friday afternoon, with undergraduate ceremonies taking place on Saturday.

Antonia Anderson, assistant athletics director for academic support, commended the class for excelling both in competition and in the classroom.

“I'm incredibly proud of our student-athletes who are graduating this spring,” Anderson said. “This is the largest graduating class of my time here, which makes this moment even more special. It's been an honor to watch their hard work, resilience, and dedication outside of their sport pay off through this incredible achievement.”
