CASNR Dean Named to National Public University Committee, University to Host Annual Conference
East Texas A&M University’s Dean of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR), Dr. Bryan Rank, was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Non Land-Grant Agriculture and Renewable Resources Universities (NARRU) committee.
Rank, who took the helm of CASNR in January 2025, joins the committee as a director-at-large and will serve a one-year term. NARRU is a subdivision of the Association of Public & Land-Grant Universities. The committee was founded with the goal of creating a forum and unifying force for all faculty, staff, students, and administrators of state funded public colleges and universities with agriculture, food and renewable resource programs. There are more than 50 active NARRU member institutions. The organization is made up of deans and department heads at the non-land-grant universities.
In addition to Rank’s tenure on the board of directors, NARRU also chose East Texas A&M to host its next annual conference in Fall 2026. More information about the conference will be released at a later date.
