A&M-Commerce Alum is #1 New York Times Bestselling Author

A recent article in the Longview News Journal highlights A&M-Commerce alum Colleen Hoover, a #1 New York Times bestselling author. The popular “New Adult” romance and thriller writer self-published her first book, “Slammed,” in 2012. Within a few months, it had reached the New York Times bestseller list. Her 2016 novel, “It Ends With Us,” has recently gained traction on TikTok and currently sits at number three on the New York Times bestseller list for combined print and e-book fiction, ahead of Stephen King's “Billy Summers.”
Hoover, whose childhood dream was to become a writer, began writing at the age of 31. She has since published more than 20 novels and novellas and continues to appear on top bestseller lists. She graduated from A&M-Commerce in 2004 with a Bachelor of Social Work degree.
