Alum and Current Graduate Student Crowned Miss Dallas 2026

Current East Texas A&M University graduate student and alumna A’Jah Moore was crowned Miss Dallas 2026 at the most recent pageant held by the Miss Dallas/Park Cities Scholarship Organization, a local franchise of the Miss America Organization.

Moore, a 2022 graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce (now East Texas A&M) with a degree in Communication Studies, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Management. She was crowned Miss Dallas on September 28 at the Granville Arts Center in Garland, Texas. Her service initiative as Miss Dallas is titled “The Purposeful Girl,” and she also earned the pageant’s Overall Miss Interview Award and tied for the Overall Miss Evening Gown Award.

“Being crowned Miss Dallas 2026 has been a dream come true,” Moore said. “Having the opportunity to stand in a position of leadership, represent my community, and make an impact on the very people who have poured so much into me is truly rewarding and humbling.”

She continued: “I competed for this title a year ago and placed as 3rd Runner-Up, and now winning reminds me that God's timing is always perfect. Delay does not mean denial. As Miss Dallas, I plan to partner with as many organizations as possible to ensure students and families have access to the support and resources they need to live purpose-driven lives.”

She is now eligible to compete in the 2026 Miss Texas pageant, which is scheduled for June 2026.
