Lion Movers is a volunteer program that invites student organizations to assist incoming students during move-in day. Volunteers help carry boxes, greet new students and their families, and provide a warm welcome to campus life.

What is Lion Movers?

Lion Movers is a volunteer-based campus service program at East Texas A&M that helps students move into their residence halls during official move-in days. Our team assists with unloading vehicles, transporting items to dorm rooms, and providing a warm welcome to new and returning students.

Who can use Lion Movers?

Any student living in on-campus housing is eligible to receive move-in support during designated move-in dates.

What kind of help can I expect?

Our volunteers can help you:

  • Unload your vehicle
  • Carry items to your room
  • Offer directions and campus information
  • While we don't unpack or arrange your room, we'll make your arrival as smooth as possible.

When is Lion Movers available?

Lion Movers is available during official campus move-in days, usually scheduled in August. Specific dates and times will be communicated via your university email and housing portal.

How do I sign up to volunteer?
