University Gallery Showcasing Faculty Talents at Biennial Exhibition

The Department of Art at East Texas A&M University is pleased to announce the Art Faculty Biennial Exhibition. The exhibition will be on view from November 17, 2025, to February 6, 2026, in The University Gallery, located at 2005 University Drive in Commerce, TX. The gallery is open weekly, Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and by appointment.

The exhibition features artwork created by current faculty members in the Department of Art at East Texas A&M, working in media ranging from ceramics, painting, photography, printmaking and multimedia installation.

The University Gallery is typically reserved for exhibitions featuring artworks by East Texas A&M students, faculty, and nationally and internationally recognized artists and designers. The gallery also hosts graduate critiques, thesis reviews and the Annual Juried Student Art Show held every spring. Additional gallery spaces on campus include the Wathena Temple Project Space, located in the Temple Fine Arts Building, and the President's Gallery in the McDowell Business Administration Building. These two galleries feature solo and group exhibitions created by currently enrolled students, including shows related to the course curriculum as well as those curated independently.
