Spring into Action: Marketing and Business Analytics Student Organization Hosts Annual Welcome Party

With the launch of the Spring 2023 semester at A&M-Commerce, the Marketing and Business Analytics Student Organization (MKTBA) hosted their annual welcome event on February 15 at the Dallas site.
This event was open to all new and returning members, as well as all students interested in joining the MKTBA. Interim Dean of the College of Business, Scott Wheeler and Associate Dean, Dr. Anil Kumar were also in attendance, joining 50 students for event.
Hosted annually, the event aims to provide an opportunity for members to network with each other, learn more about the organization and engage with industry professionals. Moreover, the event allows new students to explore the organization's offerings which also includes competitions, workshops and educational seminars.
“The Marketing and Business Analytics annual welcome event is a great opportunity for our student members to connect and learn from each other, as well as industry professionals,” Wheeler said. “We are excited to welcome new and returning members to the organization and look forward to the upcoming guest speakers and workshop opportunities that aim to nurture their personal and professional growth.”
In her opening remarks, MKTBA President Tapasya Singh stated: “I know there are a lot of challenges in college, but this organization has helped me to grow into a strong, confident leader. I urge you all to explore and actively engage with our events, all of which were designed to enhance our skills and gain real-world experience through a variety of hands-on workshops and events.”
