School of Music Gets Crowds in the Spirit of the Season at Annual Holiday Gala
The East Texas A&M University School of Music wowed patrons with its annual showcase of seasonal tunes at the annual Holiday Gala, a two-night concert featuring multiple ensembles, on Dec. 5 and 6 at the Jack and Lou Finney Concert Hall in Commerce.
The annual event is one of the most attended concerts at East Texas A&M. Prior to the concerts, a reception was held for alumni and special guests at the neighboring Welcome Center.
The following ensembles performed each night:
- Friday, December 5th Ensembles: Flute Choir, Jazz Ensemble I, Tuba/Euphonium Choir, Chamber Singers, Piano Division, Trombone Ensemble, Saxophone Choir, Instrumental Chamber Ensemble, Panimation Steel Drum Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble.
- Saturday, December 6th Ensembles: Clarinet Choir, Jazz Ensemble I, Horn Ensemble, Chamber Singers, Piano Division, Trumpet Ensemble, Panimation Steel Drum Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble.
