Future Lions Discover ETAMU: Pride Preview Day 2026
Pride Preview Day, held last Saturday, was a dedicated opportunity for future Lions to experience everything East Texas A&M University has to offer in one eventful and immersive showcase. This free event allowed visitors to discover ETAMU's degree programs, learn about student organizations, explore campus and so much more.
This year, over 400 visitors, including nearly 200 prospective students, attended the event. Throughout the day, they explored campus through guided tours of residence halls and academic buildings, getting a true feel for student life.

Prospective students connected with current students, faculty and staff who shared their experiences and helped them learn more about East Texas A&M. Informational sessions provided guidance on topics such as financial aid, scholarships, the honors program, steps to enrollment, living on campus and more.
Dali Hatanville, director of Undergraduate Admissions and organizer of Pride Preview Day, reflected on the event: “Pride Preview Day is about opening doors. It gives students and their families a real look at what life is like at East Texas A&M and helps them see themselves thriving here.”
The success of this year's Pride Preview Day was evident in the energy on campus, the engagement of visiting students and their shared enthusiasm.
