East Texas A&M Recognized Among Top A&M System Schools in U.S. News Online Program Rankings
East Texas A&M University stood strong alongside fellow Texas A&M University System institutions in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings of online programs.
Released this month, the rankings place East Texas A&M among the top three Texas A&M System schools in Texas across five online program categories. The A&M System encompasses 12 universities.
Commenting on the performance of the A&M System schools in the U.S. News rankings, Chancellor Glenn Hegar said the rankings reflect each university's emphasis on educational access, academic rigor and care for students.
“These results are a direct outcome of a student-first mindset and a kind of persistence that is part of the Texas A&M culture,” Hegar said. “Our faculty and staff keep pushing to meet students where they are, including working adults, parents, first-generation students, and military-connected students, while maintaining high expectations.”

- #2 – Online Master's in Education
- #2 – Online MBA Programs
- #3 – Online Bachelor's Programs
- #3 – Online Master's in Business Programs (non-MBA)
