East Texas A&M Doctoral Student Named Assistant Superintendent for Bonham ISD
The Bonham (TX) ISD Board of Trustees recently appointed East Texas A&M doctoral student James J. Branam as the district's new assistant superintendent. Branam served previously as principal of Bonham High School.

A proud member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Branam brings more than 25 years of experience in education, including 17 years in campus administration, to the role.
“Our community is truly special, and I'm looking forward to seeing greatness shine in every one of our students,” Branam said in a news post on MyParisNews.com. “I believe wholeheartedly in our students' potential, and I'm committed to helping each of them grow, achieve and exceed our expectations.”
Branam earned bachelor's and master's degrees at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He is pursuing a doctorate in educational administration at East Texas A&M.
