A&M-Commerce Future Educators Attend State Conference
The A&M-Commerce chapter of Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) attended the TAFE Teach Tomorrow Summit in Round Rock, Texas, March 2-4. TAFE is a statewide co-curricular career and technical student organization allowing future educators to explore the teaching profession.
The conference allowed TAFE members to meet others from around the state who share similar interests. Attendees also gained understanding of what it takes to be a successful college student and explored the skills necessary to be a successful educator.
A&M-Commerce student D'Andre Harrison competed in the Educators Rising competition to advance to the national round in June. In addition, five high school seniors committed at the event to attend A&M-Commerce in fall.
