A&M-Commerce Alum Opens Educational Center in Navarro County
A&M-Commerce alum Deb Tamez designed and built the new Eagle's Nest childhood center in Navarro County. The facility will feature an after-school program that teaches science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics to children from five to ten years old. The center will also offer a nature-based preschool program for young children. Tamez earned her degree in early childhood education from A&M-Commerce and taught for 11 years.
