He is a leader, a team player, and motivated by success. Joseph is a broadcast communications enthusiast and finds his career to be rewarding. While he worked diligently with students to find them a home here at East Texas A&M University, he was also taking classes to earn his master’s degree in Marketing.

What do you like most about your career?
“I love to see students get excited about coming to East Texas A&M. When I get to tell a student that they are admitted to the university and I get to see the smile on their face, that is what really makes this job so satisfying.”
What would you tell a student who is thinking about attending East Texas A&M?
“I would tell a student that they can read all the information they want to know about East Texas A&M, but the best way to find out if this college is going to be the right fit for them is by coming on a campus visit. Once you step foot on this campus you will know that East Texas A&M is the right pick for you.”
What are some of your favorite things about Commerce?
“My favorite thing about Commerce is the school spirit the whole town has for the university. No matter where you turn, you will see a ‘Go Lions’ sign!”
