One of the things that stood out for me when I started my application for a Master’s degree at Texas A&M University- Commerce was the response time. Every time that I had a question regarding my application, there was almost always an immediate reply to my emails and that really encouraged me because a number of the other schools that I was also applying to at the time were barely responsive. It gave me a sense of belonging even though I wasn’t a part of the institution yet and I knew I could make TAMUC my new home because there was always going to be a ‘response to my call’.
