TAMUC Student and Faculty Featured on Good Morning Texas Segment

Texas A&M University-Commerce student Hannah Escobedo and Adjunct Professor Keisha Whaley were recently featured on a segment of “Good Morning Texas” on WFAA Channel 8 in Dallas-Ft. Worth. Escobedo, a graphic designer for the Brass Tacks Collective, spoke alongside Brass Tacks founder Whaley in support of National Mentoring Month. The Brass Tacks Collective is a marketing and design agency, and Escobedo spoke of her experiences as a mentee under Whaley and how it helped her grow professionally. Escobedo is currently a senior majoring in Visual Communication with an emphasis in Design, and plans to graduate in May 2023. Whaley has served as an adjunct, teaching courses in visual communication since 2020. See the Good Morning Texas segment.
