Partnership with Indeed Job Search Academy to Power Student Job Search Skills
The Office of Student Career Preparedness at East Texas A&M recently partnered with Indeed Job Search Academy to expand access to free, accessible, on-demand career development tools for students and alumni. The collaboration aims to enhance job search skills and improve hiring outcomes.
The Indeed Job Search Academy offers a wide range of career readiness resources, including self-paced learning modules, live virtual workshops, job listings, career services, and interview preparation tools. The website helps students build their resumes and navigate the job search process with confidence.
“Our goal is to ensure every student knows that high-quality career support is available whenever they need it,” said Arthur Lumzy Jr., executive director of Student Career Preparedness at East Texas A&M. “By integrating the Indeed Job Search Academy with our coaching and events, East Texas A&M students can build resumes, practice interviewing, and apply for jobs with confidence.”
The new platform complements East Texas A&M's existing Student Career Preparedness services, which provide one-on-one coaching, career fairs, employer engagement programs, and learning opportunities.
The partnership with Indeed supports East Texas A&M's student-ready mission by expanding students' access to materials that help prepare graduates for meaningful careers and long-term professional success.
