ETSU Alum Publishes Article in Shared Governance in Higher Education
Dr. Cliff L. Wood, president emeritus of Rockland Community College in Suffern, New York, recently published an essay in the journal Shared Governance in Higher Education, a publication by The State University of New York Press.
The article, “Shared Governance: Valuing Each Other and Achieving More Together,” was written in collaboration with Belinda Miles, Ph.D., president of Westchester Community College; and Kristine Young, Ph.D., president of Orange Community College.
Wood, a resident of Putney, Vermont, received the Distinguished Alumni recognition from A&M-Commerce in 2012 and the Distinguished Alumnus Award from Delta Tau Delta Fraternity in 2010. He received bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees from East Texas State University.
