
ETAMU Business Staff, Alum Named Co-Chair of DJCC
Yazan Kakish, director of marketing and communications for the East Texas A&M University College of Business, was recently named the co-chair of the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce’s (DJCC) Board of Directors. Kakish said of the honor: “It is with great honor and distinction that I share my election as Co-Chairman of the Board for the Dallas Junior Chamber of Commerce after serving as a board member for the past year. This organization represents more than just networking—it stands as a catalyst for transformation, leadership, and meaningful impact in the lives of young professionals across Dallas and beyond. The DJCC is a premier young professional organization in the DFW metroplex that aims to facilitate meaningful relationships amongst young people and seeks to collaborate with local organizations, both non-profit and for-profit. In addition to his staff duties, Kakish also serves East Texas A&M as an adjunct instructor of marketing. He holds an M.B.A. from East Texas A&M as well as a bachelor’s degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
