Dr. Phil Gilbreath Retires after 52 Years of Service
Dr. Phil Gilbreath, A&M-Commerce (ETSU) alumnus, retired from Garland ISD after 52 years of service. Gilbreath served as the career and technical education director for the district. He received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including Texas' Career and Technical Administrator of the Year in 2012. Garland ISD's Gilbreath-Reed Career and Technical Center was named in his honor.
