College of Business
Tonya Yeager was a nontraditional student who spent many years in the workforce prior to earning a Business Administration degree at the age of 47. Most of her previous employment required a degree to become a candidate for promotion, so Tonya enrolled in her first semester, which led to the next and next. With each obstacle, Tonya managed to find a workaround to stay on the path. Eventually, she started to believe that she could actually achieve this big goal. Before Tonya knew it, she was graduating with her degree in her hand. Since earning Tonya’s first degree, she has been a GED Instructor, TRIO Educational Advisor, and Academic Advisor. By far, Tonya’s choice to earn a degree was the best career move she has made to date!
