Anna Martin currently serves as an Academic Advisor in the College of Business at East Texas A&M University, formerly known as Texas A&M University-Commerce, where she also earned her undergraduate degree in 2021. Anna is pursuing her master's in Student Affairs within a counseling program, and her professional interests include student success, academic advising and career development. Anna is passionate about helping students navigate their academic journey, explore opportunities, and build confidence in their future paths.

How do you help students at East Texas A&M?

As an academic advisor, I strive to guide students with care and clarity, helping them navigate challenges, discover opportunities, and stay on track toward their goals. My goal is to empower them with the tools, confidence, and encouragement they need to succeed both in the classroom and their personal lives.

What do you like most about your career?

Being an academic advisor is rewarding because I get to guide students through important milestones, support their goals, and celebrate their successes. It's fulfilling to know I play a part in helping them build confidence and shape their future.
