We are proud to dedicate the McCord Family Alumni Center in honor of Sam and Barb McCord, whose lifelong dedication has left a mark on East Texas A&M University. Sam, a celebrated Lion quarterback, coach, and alumni director, exemplified leadership and commitment both on and off the field. Barb devoted over four decades to the university, supporting students, faculty, and staff through her administrative work and unwavering service. Together, their legacy reflects a deep love for the university and its community. This dedication celebrates their contributions and the enduring impact they have made on generations of Lions.
