Institutional Research Resources: National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
East Texas A&M participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement on a biennial basis. NSSE focuses on two key areas:
- The amount of time and effort students put into their studies and other educationally purposeful activities.
- How the institution uses its resources and organizes the curriculum and other learning opportunities to get students to participate in activities that research shows are linked to student learning.
Responses collected from this survey provide meaningful data that reflects the level at which student engagement improves over the course of their four-year college experience.
