Executive in Residence Program
Empower Student Success Through Executive Insight
The Executive in Residence Program at East Texas A&M University connects accomplished business leaders with students, bringing real-world insight into the academic setting. Executives engage through mentorship, guest lectures, workshops and strategic advising, shaping future professionals while contributing to a thriving learning environment.
About the Executive In Residence Program

What's the Time Commitment?
- Two hours per month for up to eight months per academic year
- Preferred time: Between 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM to maximize opportunities for students and faculty
How Can I Engage?
- Host fireside chats or executive roundtables
- Advise on student-led projects and case competitions
- Mentor high-potential students and emerging faculty
- Deliver guest lectures in undergraduate and
graduate courses
Program Schedule
- When: EIR sessions take place September–November and January–May, during the 2nd or 3rd week of each month (Monday–Thursday).
- Exact dates coordinated based on your availability
