The Search Engines
We’ve compiled a number of online resources to help you locate funding opportunities and collaborators in your areas of interest.
Federal and State Funding
- FedConnect – Search opportunities for federal contracts and grants.
- Grants.gov – Search this comprehensive database for all federal funding using keywords, CFDA number or sponsor.
- Texas eGrants – Search competitive funding opportunities offered by the State of Texas.
For the Humanities
- H-NET – Humanities and Social Net creates and coordinates Internet networks for research in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
Nonprofits
- GuideStar – Search this National Database of Nonprofit Organizations. You must register for a free account to search the database.
- Grantsnet.org – Funding Directory represents a list of all programs currently entered in the GrantsNet database support by the nonprofit Advancing Science Serving Society.
General Searches
- Pivot-RP (formerly Community of Science) – Access a global database of research funding opportunities.
- Texas Grant Watch – A national database listing grants for individuals, non-profits and small businesses.
